Our Story

Hello! My name is Gabe Wells. My wife, Kristen, and I started this business in March 2022 as a way to enjoy our hobbies while generating some income to support them. My part of the business is the “Printed”— that is, 3D printing. Right now, I have five FDM (filament-based) printers and one resin printer. I started out making fidget toys and souvenir-type products, and while I’ve designed a few of my own models, my first major creation came when I was inspired to develop our newest product—our terrain model kit.

I’ve served in the U.S. Army since 2019 and recently started my journey to commission as an officer. In ROTC, we frequently set up terrain models for mission briefings, but I got tired of using sticks, rocks, and scraps of paper to represent key elements. So, I sat down at my computer and put together some simple 3D models. My fellow cadets loved the idea, so I kept refining them until they became the terrain model kit we offer today.

The other side of our business is the “Stitched.” Kristen originally focused on crochet, making amigurumi dolls and other novelty gifts. More recently, she’s been developing her skills in sewing and quilting. She now makes quilts, handmade clothing, bags, embroidery, and crochet items. We’re still working on unique products as well as patterns for her to add to our website. 

We feel truly blessed to run this business and support our passions. My goal is to get our terrain model kits into the hands of as many service members as possible to help improve training and mission planning.
